0048 (2).JPGMy name is Ed Mueller and welcome to the Garretson School District!  I have taught Agricultural Education at Garretson since 1994.  I have a Master's Degree is Agricultural Education from North Dakota State Unversity and was recognized for 30 years of agricultural education in 2011. My passion is incorporating hands on learning into the agricultural classroom.

Ag Ed 1 is designed to provide students with introductory skills in a broad range of agricultural related careers.  From there, students will design their coursework around their agricultural interests.  Students are able to select from units in Ag Mechanics, Ag Processing, Ag Sales and Marketing, Agriscience, Biotechnology, Ag Entrepreneurship, Greenhouse Management, Landscape Design and  Maintenance, Ag Metal Fabrication, Ag Natural Resources, Ag Power - Small Engines, Ag Power- Tractor Maintenance, and Ag Structures.  Brief course descriptions can be found at the Garretson School website under registration.

I also serve as the FFA advisor to the Garretson FFA which has received top chapter honors both on the state and national levels.  Feel free to view our FFA page at Facebook.

Please contact me at Ed.Mueller@k12.sd.us with any student concerns or questions about the agricultural education curriculum.
